Artist driven theatre dedicated to awakening the imagination. The Theatre Department is committed to engaging with Canada’s best Actors, Directors and Designers. Our intention is to produce simple elegant productions, of the world’s best language based plays, both new and vintage, with an emphasis on accentuating the power of theatre’s singular, live dynamic.

The Theatre Department is made up of Ron Pederson and Daniela Vlaskalic; two Toronto based artists who all have an extensive history in Canadian theatre. The collective was first formed in order to be able to produce the Toronto premiere of The Exquisite Hour by Canadian award winning playwright Stewart Lemoine. The tremendous success of that production, which received great critical acclaim, has encouraged us to work together again.

Ron and Daniela have already had an exciting career in the creation and establishment of theatre in this country and look forward to joining with other artists to continue bringing exciting live theatre to Toronto audiences.
